Volunteer Willow Picking - Spite Hill Fishing Access

Join High Plains Conservation District for a day of volunteer willow harvesting at Spite Hill fishing access site on the Missouri River near Craig! We will be harvesting willows to use at our Hound Creek Restoration site, where the willows will help protect banks from erosion and provide critical habitat to fish and wildlife.

We will have water and snacks on site, but feel free to bring your own. Dress for the weather, we will work through the cold or rain. Gloves and tools will be provided.

CARPOOL INFORMATION

Driving from Great Falls? Volunteers who wish to carpool can meet at the High Plains Conservation District office at 9:00 AM to carpool to the site. We will be leaving at 9:15 AM sharp for Spite Hill.
