Our Mission, Vision, and Guiding Principles
HPCD’s mission is to promote the wise use and management of natural resources in Cascade County. We seek to accomplish this mission by implementing on the ground conservation projects, hosting natural resource themed educational programs and events, and offering technical or financial assistance to producers throughout the county.
HPCD’s vision for the future is that our services will encourage people to value natural resources, and encourage them to do their part to enhance the resiliency and function of land and water resources for present and future generations. HPCD’s projects and programs all lead back to accomplishing this vision and leaving a better future for those that come after us.
