Scott Brown, Vice Chairman and Urban appointee for the town of Cascade, Belt, and Neihart - Scott Brown is a soil scientist and hydrogeologist.  He has 38 years of experience working with farmers and ranchers reclaiming saline seeps with the Montana Salinity Control Association.  He is an avid outdoorsman, enjoying all that Montana has to offer in every season.  He has been a supervisor for the High Plains Conservation District since 2012.  He enjoys the challenges of managing Montana's natural resources with the conservation district.   

Kathi Lahti – Supervisor - Kathie has been with the Conservation District for 6 years.  She has a background in Wildlife/ Conservation Biology with a degree from Arizona State University.  Kathie spent some time in various capacities in game management, rehabilitation of wildlife ecosystems and grazing recovery with the State of Arizona in conjunction with the Nature Conservancy.  Kathie also worked on select cut managed logging crews in the Kaibab National Forest in Northern Arizona.  Before returning to college Kathie spent many hears in public accounting and business management. Her husband Bruce and she owned their own accounting and tax practice in Phoenix. 
Kathie and her husband moved to Great Falls in 1995.  They have loved every minute here.  Together they own a hobby farm that includes livestock, fowl and a large garden and greenhouse.
